Northern Arizona University Off-Campus Housing Guide (2026)

NAU requires first-years to live on campus, so the apartment market targets sophomores and up.

Where students live

The S Milton Rd corridor and Woodlands Village southwest of campus are the signature zones, oriented to the Mountain Line bus and campus shuttles.

Flagstaff's growth limits keep supply tight and per-bed rates high ($700–$1,250). NAU's official portal is Louie's List (louieslist.nau.edu).

What you'll need

Most student communities here come furnished — use the checklist's furnished filter. Pack for snow: Flagstaff is at 7,000 feet.
