On-campus housing: 2026-27 rates & what's included

Room dimensions are only half the story — here is what UCF actually charges to live on campus, what shows up in the room before you unpack, and the appliance rules that decide what you can bring.

Heads up — this school breaks the usual rules

  • Bed size is not the same across campus. Most halls are Twin XL, but Towers at Knights Plaza uses FULL-size beds and NorthView uses queen/full-XL. Buy sheets only after you know your building.
  • Fridges are capped at 5 cubic feet and microwaves at 1,000 watts; nothing is provided in the residence halls.
  • Toasters, toaster ovens, air fryers and grills are banned in residence halls — they are only allowed in apartment-style housing.

Buying the standard college checklist here will waste money — check your building first.

Bed size: Twin XL in Apollo, Libra, Hercules/Nike, Neptune, Lake Claire and Rosen — but Towers at Knights Plaza uses FULL-size beds and NorthView uses queen/full-XL. Check your building before buying sheets.
