Before you buy anything: what is actually true at Murray State University

Room size and rugs
Rooms run from 97 sq ft (HC Franklin) up to 187 sq ft (Hart). At the small end a 4×6 rug is the largest that leaves walking room — measure before ordering anything bigger.
Bed and bedding
80-inch XL twin in all residence halls — “all halls have 80" mattresses” — on height-adjustable frames. Exception: Station 74 apartments are furnished with full size beds. College Courts is not published. Measure before buying bedding — this campus is not a standard 38×80.
Fridge and microwave
Bring your own — nothing is supplied in the residence halls. One refrigerator per room, not exceeding 4.6 cubic feet (unusually generous), and one microwave per room at no more than 700 watts, which most big-box dorm microwaves exceed. Keurigs are explicitly permitted. Unnecessary in Station 74 and Anything over 4.6 cu ft will be sent home.
