BGSU Off-Campus Housing Guide (2026)

BGSU requires two years on campus (exemptions for 20+, junior standing, and 50-mile commuters), so the off-campus market is junior and senior driven — and leasing for next year opens in October and goes fast.

Where students live

A few amenity-heavy per-bedroom complexes sit on the edges of town, with a large stock of cheap conventional 2BR apartments and houses from local landlords (Greenbriar, Newlove, Mecca) downtown and near campus.

Students famously camp outside Greenbriar's office when leasing opens. BGSU's Off-Campus Student Services page is the official hub.
