Before you buy anything: what is actually true at University of Dayton

Room size and rugs
Rooms run from 159 sq ft (Stuart Complex : University of Dayton, Ohio) up to 171 sq ft (Marianist Hall : University of Dayton, Ohio). At the small end a 6×9 rug is the largest that leaves walking room — measure before ordering anything bigger.
Bed and bedding
Twin extra-long — Dayton’s what-to-bring page says beds are “twin extra-long, which means it is 5" longer than a normal twin bed.” Stuart Complex is the only hall that publishes a width: 38" x 80", the true standard. Marycrest and Marianist publish the 80" length only, and no width is published for
Fridge and microwave
Provided — do not buy one. Marycrest, Stuart and Marianist rooms all include a MicroFridge, and the handbook lists it as standard hall furniture. “Additional refrigerators or freezers” are banned in all locations because each space is already supplied. Dayton publishes no cubic-foot or wattage limit Do not buy a fridge for this campus.

Do not pack duplicates of these: The standard package across all facilities is a bed, dresser, desk, desk chair and a MicroFridge in the halls or a refrigerator in the apartments.
