Room size and rugs
Rooms run from 128 sq ft (The Woods) up to 196 sq ft (Honors Community). At the small end a 5×7 rug is the largest that leaves walking room — measure before ordering anything bigger.
Bed and bedding
36" W x 79" L x 6" D — not Twin XL, which is 38–39" x 80". It is both narrower and an inch shorter, on an unusually shallow 6" mattress. Fridge and microwave
A mini-fridge and a microwave are already provided in every residence hall room — do not buy either. Hamilton’s fridge is 18.5" x 33" x 17" with a 17.5" x 10" x 12" microwave; Honors and The Woods list equivalents. Do not pack duplicates of these: Halls come furnished with a bed frame and mattress, desk, wardrobe and a chest of drawers per resident, and Hamilton also provides window curtains.
