Murray State Off-Campus Housing Guide (2026)

Murray State requires two years (four full-time semesters) in the residence halls — juniors and seniors dominate the off-campus market.

Where students live

The 16th Street and Lowes Drive corridors on the north/west edge of campus are the closest things to student neighborhoods.

Murray is a small, very low-cost college town: two small furnished per-bed communities (CEV, Station 74) plus extremely cheap conventional apartments and rental houses — whole units under $1,000 are normal.
