What is actually true at Minnesota

Minnesota has no live-on requirement, one hall that is not a twin, campus buses anyone can ride for free, and a charge at move-out that catches people every year.

Bed and bedding

Keeler is a Full, not a twin. Check your hall assignment before buying bedding — a Twin XL set bought for Keeler is simply the wrong size.

Living on campus

There is no live-on requirement, so the dorm competes with the local rental market on price and convenience rather than being compulsory.

Move-out

Leaving your bed lofted at move-out costs $100. If you loft it in September, put twenty minutes in the calendar to lower it in May.

Getting around

Campus buses are free to the public, not just to students — so visiting family and friends ride at no cost too.

Measure before you buy

Minnesota does not publish full dimensions for every hall. Bring a tape measure on move-in day and buy the bedding and storage afterwards.
