University of Mississippi Off-Campus Housing Guide (2026)

Only freshmen must live on campus, and on-campus space is tight — the large majority of students move off campus from sophomore year on.

Where students live

The purpose-built complexes along Anchorage Rd/Old Sardis Rd and Old Taylor Rd/Anderson Rd, plus condos near the Square for walkability.

Oxford is a true student-housing market: per-bedroom leases, furnished units, roommate matching, and cottage-style communities are the norm. Note: properties rebrand often here (The Retreat is now Redpoint) — double-check names when you tour.
