Before you buy anything: what is actually true at Pace University
A generic college checklist will cost you money here. These are Pace University’s own published room measurements and rules — check them before you order.
Room size and rugs
Rooms run from 163 sq ft (Townhouses) up to 208 sq ft (Martin Hall). At the small end a 6×9 rug is the largest that leaves walking room — measure before ordering anything bigger.
Bed and bedding
78" x 36", which Pace itself labels “extra-long twin” even though the national Twin XL standard is 80". Pace says these “will fit extra-long twin sheets, but also accommodate (in most cases) standard twin bed sheets.” ⚠ The 15 Beekman page states 80" instead, contradicting the FAQ, the packing list Do not buy Twin XL sheets here.
Fridge and microwave
Already provided — do not buy one. 182 Broadway, Maria’s Tower and 33 Beekman each include one 4.5 cubic foot MicroFridge per room with a refrigerator, freezer and microwave; 15 Beekman includes a microwave and refrigerator in each suite. Pace is explicit that “if an item is ‘provided’, students are Do not buy a fridge for this campus.
Already in your room
Do not pack duplicates of these: Each resident gets a bed, desk, dresser, wardrobe and desk chair. Ethernet plus campus wireless is in all halls, and window shades are pre-installed.
