Before you buy anything: what is actually true at University of Oklahoma

Room size and rugs
Rooms run from 70 sq ft (Kraettli Apartments) up to 300 sq ft (Cross Village). At the small end a 4×6 rug is the largest that leaves walking room — measure before ordering anything bigger.
Bed and bedding
Mixed campus. Twin XL in Couch Center, Boren, McCasland, South Hall, Cross Village 2BR/4-person and Residential College doubles. Full-size in Headington Hall and Traditions Square (all units), plus Cross Village 1BR / 2BR-2-person / 4BR suites and Residential College singles and multi-bed suites.
Fridge and microwave
It depends on the hall. Already provided — do not buy: Headington Hall (microwaves and apartment-size fridges), Cross Village kitchenettes, and Traditions Square’s full kitchen. Bring your own for Couch, Boren, McCasland and South Hall: one fridge and one microwave per unit, each no more than 4 cubi Anything over 4 cu ft will be sent home.
Already in your room
Do not pack duplicates of these: All halls are fully furnished — bed, desk, desk chair, wardrobe and dresser, with Boren adding two closets, a bureau and built-in bookshelves.
